Stretch Mark Removal

Anyone can develop stretch marks but they are most common in adults and in puberty age teens. Stretch marks occur when the skin is forced to stretch beyond its limit with the most common reason for the development of stretch marks being major weight gain. Laser stretch mark removal is the most effective way to reduce or eliminate stretch marks anywhere on the body.

With this treatment, each stretch mark is targeted by a highly focused laser that travels into the skin where the blood vessels just under the skin absorb the laser light. This powerful light triggers a collapse of the blood vessels, which cause the unattractive purple, red, or pink marks on the skin. When the blood vessels collapse, the blood is sent to other parts of the body leading to the discoloration of the stretch marks being eliminated. The stretch marks will typically fade to a very pale color to blend in with the surrounding skin and the indentations left behind will gradually be filled in, due to collagen production also triggered by the laser.
